The school project was conceived in 2011 by Juliano Hollivier and Cristina Ferrantini, so that they could teach the Life Model's Art. After Cris' death in 2016, Juliano continued his studies to support the creation of an innovative course that had not yet been seen in the body arts: Training in this ancient profession.
In 2017, the Life Model School, Art & Reference was opened, today in its own headquarters called Cris Ferrantini Art Studio.
Initially a space for exchanging knowledge about the life model's body, the way it presents itself and prepares for the exposure of nudity. A place where you can encourage the observation and drawing of life modeling, an ancient practice that is so essential to the visual and physical arts. In addition to working on training new professional models and expanding body awareness, the school offers courses related to body knowledge, anatomy, arts in general with life models and also artistic nudity.
